WHY IS KNOWING THE BOILING POINT OF A LIQUID SO IMPORTANT?
Boiling point identifies and characterizes a compound.
Boiling point identifies and characterizes a compound.
Dynalene performs a broad array of phase transition analysis. Analyze your sample from its freeze/melt point to its boiling point. If your material does not have a distinct transition, we can also determine the glass transition temperature(s). Dynalene employs a Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC), Cryostat, Melting and Boiling points apparatus and custom calorimetry techniques to analyze phase transitions.
When using high-temperature fluids, knowing the boiling point is critical to safeguarding the system against fluid loss in open bath systems at high operating temperatures. Boiling point can also provide an indicator of vapor pressure and the limits your system needs to be able to withstand.
A leader in the aerospace industry requested boiling point analysis on hydrocarbon samples to determine key chemical properties including the reactions of these chemicals.
