Heat transfer fluid testing
We can perform an extensive series of testing on your fluids, including:
- Identification
- pH
- Concentration
- Reserve Alkalinity
- Metals Analysis
- Inhibitor Analysis
QC Testing
Simple QC testing such as pH and concentration can provide you with vital information regarding your application. pH can indicate whether the inhibitors in your system are intact or starting to fail. If the pH indicates a diminished inhibitor effect, this may lead to corrosion and possible failure of your system. We also can provide more extensive analysis that determines if metals are present in your fluid, which will tell you if corrosion is already occurring.
Determining the concentration of your fluid can provide you with the estimated freeze point or boiling point of your fluid. If you are unsure what fluid is in the system, Dynalene can also identify the type of fluid currently being used. These determinations will tell you if the fluid is suitable for the expected operating temperatures of your system, or may be used to troubleshoot problems that you have encountered. Common problems associated with concentration are icing due to freezing, or fluid loss due to evaporation.
Our periodic QC check will save you time and money by ensuring your system is operating at peak efficiency and within specification. Taking over maintenance of a poorly performing system? Our QC testing is a great way to troubleshoot the system and identify problems.
