Our molten salts can safely withstand temperatures to 565°C – higher than most heat transfer salts on the market today. The ingenuity of Dynalene’s molten salt fluids rests in their excellent thermal properties such as viscosity, density, thermal conductivity, and heat capacity, while providing excellent corrosion resistance to common alloy and stainless steels. Our molten salt fluids exhibit minimal vapor pressures even near their peak operating temperatures, eliminating the need for high-pressure components during thermal storage or convective transport.
